U.S. Fund For UNICEF

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) does whatever it takes to help save and protect the world’s most vulnerable children. UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories to put children first and has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization, by providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF supports UNICEF’s work through fundraising, advocacy and education in the United States.

UNICEF Kid Power is a program of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and is centered around getting active to save lives. Through UNICEF Kid Power, users earn points and unlock therapeutic food packets for severely malnourished children around the world. Funds raised through this Humble Bundle will go directly to the procurement and provision of ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF) packets. These packets contain a specially-designed protein and vitamin-rich peanut paste, allowing children who are severely malnourished to be treated successfully in their communities. The average course of lifesaving treatment for a severely malnourished child consists of 150 therapeutic food packets over the course of 30 days
